License to Carry Permits The process is easier than you think.
NON-RESIDENT APPLICANTS
If you are a NON-RESIDENT of Pennsylvania looking to apply for a License to Carry Firearms, you must also provide a clear copy of your UNRESTRICTED Concealed Carry License from your home state. (NOTE: A restricted or Hunting/Fishing/Business Protection permit does not qualify you for a PA LTC in Warren County.)
Learning the laws regulating the use of firearms is a must for responsible ownership. Local regulations differ and laws vary from state to state. Citizens must check with the jurisdiction where the gun is to be used.
The Sheriff and his staff are required to follow strict state guidelines when performing the necessary background checks for License to Carry Permits. Due to the nature of the detailed due diligence, processing can take multiple weeks.
License to Carry Permits can be obtained from the county sheriff of your county of residence.
Pricing
- A New License to Carry Permit costs $20.00
- A Renewal License to Carry Permit costs $20.00
Upon submitting an application through this site, you will be responsible for all fees associated. If denied by PA Insta Check or by failure to answer any questions appropriately, $14 will be refunded. This reflects an administrative fee of $6 that will be kept by the Sheriff's Office per State Statute along with any service fees kept by Permitium.
Please contact the Sheriff's Office directly to apply for a Modification due to name and/or address change, or to apply for a Replacement - there will be a $5 fee.
